What can I do about my dark circles under my eyes?
Don’t worry about your dark eyes. Help is on the way. It’s just a matter of a few beauty adjustments to find the perfect products that will cover up those dark circles and highlight other area assets you love.
Dark circles have many causes and tend to run in families. Dark circles can occur when tiny blood vessels rub against the skin of the eyes, resulting in discoloration in the thin, delicate skin around the eyes. Dark circles can also be caused by health issues including stress, sinus infections, alcoholism, dehydration and smoking, just to name a few.
I recently shared all my tips for how to conquer puffy eyes (read up!). Puffy eyes are triggered by bad habits like, late nights and smoking. Dark circles are different – they’re typically a beauty problem that’s inherited.
Here are a few options to rid you of those unattractive dark circles:
- Use eye cream that have anti-inflammatory properties
- Take an antihistamine before allergy season to diminish shadows
- Use a collagen building cream
- And for a quick fix, camouflage dark circles with eye cream and concealer
